Archetypes of Power
In this totally unscientific post 🙂 I am going to pull together the last ten Major Arcana Tarot cards that have shown up in readings along with the underlying message they revealed. Not the usual ‘meaning’, the energy that they sparked within the sitter.
- Strength – Tap in to your power.
The strength of the human spirit is often underestimated. We are told to face our fears and fight them. But what if we don’t have the energy to do that? What if we don’t know how? What if it seems too difficult?
This section discusses how you can find inner strength and use it to overcome your fears. This can be achieved by understanding the source of fear and working through it to achieve a sense of self-acceptance.
Strength is your internal power bank, charge it constantly. Your inner strength will be there when you know the time is right to make a withdrawal. Follow this link to learn more about the Strength Tarot Card
2. High Priestess – Learn to recognise the signs
We all have an inner voice or intuition, which is often called our gut instinct. It is important to learn to trust this voice and listen to it. This will help you make better decisions about your life, relationships, work and more.
When you are faced with a choice, you should trust your intuition. If there are no signs or indications to go in a certain direction, then it is best to go with what feels right. You will slowly but surely hone your instinct until you can almost guarantee results.
The High Priestess speaks of Intuition, of psychic ability. She is the voice of the subconscious. She can peek behind the veil to reveal the deeper nature of your situation. Secrets will be revealed, you can hear the unsaid & perceive the invisible through the power of The Priestess. Visit this link to read more about The High Priestess Tarot Card

8. The Hierophant – Your Path to Truth
A ritual is a specific act or series of acts that are performed in a set order. Rituals can be religious, cultural, or personal. The power of rituals is that they can help us focus on the task at hand, and they can help us feel more in control of our lives.
Rituals are a way to build habits. They are a way to create routines that we follow every day. Rituals can be anything from the morning coffee, to putting on your running shoes, or taking your vitamins. The power of rituals is that they can help us focus on the task at hand, and they can help us feel more in control of our lives. My daily tarot card over on instagram @omaratarot is my morning ritual that sets me up for the day.
Rituals help people to feel calm and focused, like prayer does. They can also be used to bring people together as in group rituals.

9. Death – Escape the Fear
One of the greatest fears in life is the fear of death. This fear can be manifested in many ways, such as a fear of stagnation and a fear of failure. However, these fears can be overcome with hope, courage, and a strong will. This fear can appear as a fear of doing anything, it keeps us from stepping outside our comfort zone.
Being outside of your comfort zone is the only way to grow. The fear of failure can be a reason to stay in your comfort zone but success can only be achieved by taking risks. We can find success that we never knew was possible. We can also find new friends and experiences that we never would have had otherwise.
When the Death card shows up people always freak out, fearing the worst. Death is simply the agent of change, The Child of the Great Transformers.
Do not fear him change is everywhere, Night follows day, winter follows summer, the darkest hour is just before the dawn. Learn more about The Death Tarot Card.

“To take a leap of faith” means to take action without any guarantees, but trusting that the outcome will be good. It can also mean to put your all into something, even if you don’t know if it will work out, because you believe in the process and the end result.
This phrase can be applied to many different situations in life, such as taking a chance on a new job or relationship. This phrase is often used when someone needs encouragement to go for something they want, but are afraid of what might happen if they do not succeed.
The Fool is the spark of Tarot, where life begins, he wanders the Cliff edge with all of his experiences wrapped in the bundle of his knapsack. He must release himself & make amends with his past to manifest the life he has always imagined. He must now make his leap of faith, and so now must you. Learn more about The Fool Tarot Card.
