Mercury rules you as much as it rules Gemini, and this October your ruling planet turns retrograde in Scorpio, your 3rd house of communication and everyday exchange.
Earth wants proof before promises. This month gives you plenty to verify, especially anything you thought was already agreed.
Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd in Scorpio, your 3rd house of communication and short journeys, ahead of your own ruler doing the same later in the month. A conversation or an agreement with a neighbour, sibling or local contact comes up for review.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, your 2nd house of money and personal values. A new approach to earning or spending has real staying power if it starts around this date.
Pluto turns direct on the 16th in Aquarius, your 6th house of routine, work and health, territory you know well. Whatever has felt stuck in your systems or your body starts shifting again.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd, joining Venus in your 3rd house. Communication and everyday logistics stay the backdrop for the rest of the month.
Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, in Scorpio and your own 3rd house. Contracts, emails and conversations you thought were finished may need revisiting. Read the small print twice before you sign anything in this window.
Let your own ruler’s retrograde do its careful, checking work rather than rushing past it. When the Full Moon lands in your 9th house on the 26th, in Taurus, a bigger-picture question, travel, belief, further study, asks for an honest answer. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Virgo picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
