Your own planet turns direct this month, in your own sign. Pluto has been retrograde in Aquarius, your 1st house, for months; on the 16th it turns direct, moving forward through your own identity again.
Air signs like to stay a step ahead of the moment. This one asks you to actually stand in it instead.
Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd in Scorpio, your 10th house of career and public standing. How you are seen professionally, or a public-facing decision, comes up for review. Do not launch anything career-defining in this window; reconsider instead.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, your 9th house of travel, belief and the bigger picture. A new direction in how you think about the wider world has real staying power if it starts around this date.
Pluto, transiting your own sign, turns direct on the 16th, your 1st house. This is the most personally significant date of the month for you. Whatever has felt stuck about your own sense of identity or direction since it turned retrograde starts moving forward again, and because it is Pluto, expect the movement to be real rather than cosmetic.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd, joining Venus in your 10th house. Career and public standing stay the theme for the rest of the month.
Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, also in Scorpio and your 10th house. A professional conversation or decision may need revisiting before it holds. Avoid finalising a career-facing commitment until November.
Let Pluto’s direct turn on the 16th matter more than anything else this month; it is your own sign moving forward again after months of review. Keep career decisions provisional until the retrogrades clear. When the Full Moon lands in your 4th house on the 26th, in Taurus, let home give you the ground to stand on while the rest of the month plays out. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Aquarius picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
