October puts your own ruling planet under review. Venus, the planet that runs your sign, turns retrograde on the 3rd in Scorpio and your 7th house of partnership, the most personal placement this transit could take for you specifically.
Earth signs like steady ground. This month gives you plenty to stand on by its end, but the middle stretch asks you to look back before you can move forward again.
Venus rules you, so wherever she goes matters more here than for most signs. On the 3rd she stations retrograde in Scorpio, your 7th house of one-to-one partnership. A relationship, business or romantic, comes up for genuine reconsideration. Nothing new needs starting here yet. Look instead at what an existing partnership actually needs, not what you assumed it needed.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, in your 6th house of routine, work and health. A new habit or a fix to something that keeps breaking has real staying power if you start it around this date.
Pluto turns direct on the 16th after months retrograde in Aquarius, your 10th house of career and public standing. Whatever has felt stuck professionally starts to shift again, slowly at first.
The Sun joins Venus in Scorpio on the 23rd, deepening the focus on your 7th house for the rest of the month. Partnership stays the theme; expect it to intensify rather than ease.
Mercury stations retrograde on the 24th, also in Scorpio and your 7th house. With both your ruling planet and Mercury retrograde in the same house, conversations with a partner may need repeating or revisiting before they land properly. Patience serves you better than pushing here.
Let Venus finish her review before you draw conclusions about any partnership. When the Full Moon arrives on the 26th, it lands in your own sign, Taurus, in your 1st house, a rare, direct spotlight on you specifically. Use it to see clearly what the month’s partnership work has actually shown you, then decide. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Taurus picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
