October puts your career house on notice ahead of schedule. The New Moon lands in your 10th house of career and public standing on the 11th, nearly two weeks before Venus and the Sun arrive in your 11th house of goals and networks.
Earth wants results you can point to. This month gives you the beginning of several, not the finish of any.
Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd in Scorpio, your 11th house of friendships, networks and long-term goals. A professional connection or a group you belong to comes up for honest review. Reassess before you commit further.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, directly in your 10th house of career and public standing, familiar ground for you. A new professional direction started around this date has real staying power.
Pluto turns direct on the 16th in Aquarius, your 2nd house of money and personal resources, after months retrograde there. Whatever has felt stuck financially starts to shift again.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd, joining Venus in your 11th house. Friendships and future goals stay the theme for the rest of the month.
Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, also in Scorpio and your 11th house. A conversation within a group or network may need repeating before it lands. Do not finalise a long-term plan with others in this window; revisit it instead.
Let the 10th house’s new beginning on the 11th take root before the 11th house asks you to reconsider your circle. When the Full Moon lands in your 5th house on the 26th, in Taurus, make space for something done purely because you want to, not because it advances anything. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Capricorn picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
