October asks your fire to go quiet. Venus turns retrograde in Scorpio on the 3rd, in your 12th house of rest and unfinished business, and by the 23rd the Sun joins her there too, with Mercury turning retrograde in the same house on the 24th.
You are built for the open road. This month keeps the door closed for a reason.
Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio on the 3rd, your 12th house of rest, closure and what you would rather not examine directly. A friendship or a romantic matter you thought was finished may quietly resurface. Let it settle rather than chasing an answer.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, your 11th house of friendships and the groups you belong to. A new connection or a fresh direction for an existing circle has real staying power if it starts around this date.
Pluto turns direct on the 16th in Aquarius, your 3rd house of communication and everyday exchange, after months retrograde there. A conversation or a piece of writing that has felt stuck starts moving again.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd, joining Venus in your 12th house for the rest of the month. Rest and quiet processing stay the backdrop, whether or not that comes naturally to you.
Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, also in Scorpio and your 12th house. Do not force a big public statement or a new plan in this window. Whatever needs saying can wait until November; use this stretch to think rather than announce.
Let the 12th house have its quiet month. Trust that rest now is not the same as standing still. When the Full Moon lands in your 6th house on the 26th, in Taurus, bring what you have processed privately into a concrete, practical change to your daily routine. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Sagittarius picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
