Mercury rules you, and this October your own ruling planet turns retrograde, in Scorpio, landing in your 6th house of routine, health and daily work. Of everyone, this transit asks the most direct attention from an air sign used to moving faster than most.
Curiosity wants new information. This month rewards you more for correcting old information instead.
Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd in Scorpio, your 6th house of daily routine and health, ahead of your own ruler doing the same later in the month. A habit, a health matter or a working relationship with a colleague comes up for review early.
The New Moon lands in Libra on the 11th, your 5th house of creativity, romance and things done for their own sake. Plant something here deliberately; this house rewards attention.
Pluto turns direct on the 16th in Aquarius, your 9th house of travel, belief and the bigger picture. A stalled plan involving distance or perspective starts moving again.
The Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd, joining Venus in your 6th house. Routine and health stay the backdrop for the rest of the month.
Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, in Scorpio and your own 6th house. This is the transit that carries your name on it more than any other sign’s chart this month. Expect a routine to need re-examining, a piece of admin to need redoing, or a health matter to need a second look rather than a first fix. Do not launch a new system in this window; repair the one you already have.
Let your own ruler’s retrograde do quiet, unglamorous work on your routines rather than resisting it. When the Full Moon lands in your 12th house on the 26th, in Taurus, let something rest that has been running too long without a pause. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Gemini picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your October transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
