Aquarius spends August adjusting to new territory. The North Node crossed into your sign at the end of July, opening an eighteen-month chapter of identity growth, and now a solar eclipse on the 12th lands in your 7th house of partnership, testing exactly the kind of relationship recalibration that nodal shift tends to demand.
You are not meant to have this figured out yet. Nobody eighteen days into an eighteen-month chapter has.
The New Moon on the 12th is a total solar eclipse at twenty degrees of Leo, your opposite sign, in your 7th house of partnership. Jupiter has been building here since late June, and the eclipse turns that slow growth into a genuine turning point in a close relationship, romantic or business. Given the recent Node shift into your own sign, this eclipse is effectively asking how your changing sense of self sits alongside the people closest to you. Expect a real conversation, not a comfortable one, but a necessary one.
Venus enters Libra on the 7th, a fellow air sign, into your 9th house of belief and travel. An easy, expansive stretch for your worldview, new ideas land well, and a trip or a course of study appeals more than usual.
Mars enters Cancer on the 11th, into your 6th house of routine and health. Restlessness in your daily systems, a job, a habit, your body itself, asking for more attention than you typically give the everyday.
The Sun enters Virgo on the 23rd, into your 8th house of shared resources and transformation. After the relationship focus of the eclipse, this turns attention to what is actually shared with another person, financially or emotionally, once the initial conversation has happened.
The month closes with a partial lunar eclipse on the 28th at five degrees of Pisces, in your 2nd house of money and self-worth, notably close to your own sign given the Node’s recent arrival there. Your sense of your own value gets tested and, more often than not, confirmed.
Let the 7th house conversation happen honestly rather than managing it from a comfortable distance, which is your usual instinct. If you want to see exactly where these transits fall in your own chart rather than the general Aquarius picture, our sister site astromara.com runs a free natal chart on the same ephemeris used here.
Though all our readers love astrology, their working specialities are tarot and clairvoyance. They will not run your August transits, but they will read what is actually moving in your life right now. To see who is available and what they offer, the readers page is the place. If you want to understand what you are looking at once you have your chart, astromara’s Learn section walks through every sign, planet and house in plain language. Otherwise, see you under the next moon.
