The White Bull
Taurus carries the myth of Europa, the Phoenician princess Zeus approached disguised as a white bull, so gentle and beautiful that she climbed onto his back for a garland of flowers, only to find herself carried out to sea, all the way to Crete, with no way to turn back. It isn't really a myth about safety. It's a myth about how the things that feel most solid and trustworthy can still carry you somewhere you never agreed to go. That is what arrives on the 26th of October, at thirteen minutes past four in the morning UTC: a Full Moon at two degrees of Taurus, the Sun exactly opposite at two degrees Scorpio. This is the Hunter's Moon, the second Full Moon of autumn, arriving as the nights properly close in. Taurus rules what you can hold in your hands, money, comfort, the body, the things that feel like proof you're safe. Opposite it, Scorpio rules what can't be held onto no matter how tightly you grip. This Full Moon asks what you've been calling security that's actually just familiar.
