Cancer's myth is the small crab Hera sent to distract Hercules during his battle with the Hydra, crushed underfoot in an instant and forgotten by nearly everyone except Hera, who placed it among the stars anyway for showing up when it mattered. It isn't a myth about winning. It's a myth about loyalty outlasting the odds, and about small acts of care counting for something even when nobody's watching. That is what arrives on the 24th of December, at twenty-eight minutes past one in the morning UTC: a supermoon at two degrees of Cancer, the Sun exactly opposite at two degrees Capricorn, on Christmas Eve itself. Cancer is the Moon's own sign, the one it rules outright, and this Full Moon lands in the single week of the year built entirely around home: the table set, the door left unlocked for whoever's coming, the small rituals that mean more than they say.
