No. It is a phone call. Nothing to download, no account to create, no camera. You call, or you book a time and the reader calls you. That is the entire technical setup.
They know your first name if you gave it at booking. That is passed on by reception so the reader is not starting cold with “so, tell me your name.” Nothing else. No file, no history, no notes from a previous call unless you have spoken to that reader before and they remember you themselves.
If they work with tarot, they are shuffling. You will sometimes hear it down the line. That is not performance, it is how they settle their attention on you before the cards come out. If they work as a clairvoyant, they may go quiet for a moment. That quiet is the work, not a delay.
Yes. If you have read someone’s bio and their voice sounds right for you, ask reception for them by name when you book. If you are not sure who to pick, say that too. Reception knows the readers and will point you toward someone suited to what you want to talk about.
Say so. This is a paid, scheduled service, not a blind date. If a reading is not landing, you can end the call, and it is worth telling reception why, so they can point you to someone better suited next time. If it is within 5 mins you may be able to start again with a new reader at the discretion of reception. Any remaining minutes can of course be carried over to a new reading.
Call reception back straight away on the same number you booked through. This happens rarely, but it is a phone line, not a fault on your part. Reception will reconnect you or arrange the remainder of the time.
No. You can arrive with a fully formed question, or with nothing more than “everything feels stuck.” Both work. A good reader does not need a tidy question to start, they need you to say what is actually on your mind, however roughly.
Mechanically, yes: no faces, no body language, nothing visual for the reader to read off you. Some people find that the honesty gets there faster this way, because there is nothing to perform. Others prefer being in the room. Neither is more accurate. It is a preference, not a downgrade.
No. You do not need to know tarot, know astrology, or know how to “ask a psychic something” the right way. Say what is on your mind in whatever words you have for it right now. That is the job on their end, not yours.
