The Earth's shadow will cover ninety-three percent of the Moon's face, turning it the colour of old copper. This is the Sturgeon Moon, named for the great fish that once ran thick in the rivers this time of year. Dissolve and refine. Surrender and sort. The last sign of the zodiac facing the sign that alphabetises the sock drawer, and this eclipse sits exactly between them, asking which one you have been leaning on too hard.
